This is a great nonclinical position for RNs who wish to continue working with patients but would prefer not to provide direct care! This position is also a great fit for RNs who like autonomy and independent work!

Everest Care Management is looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive full-time in-house Administrative Assistant to join our Evaluation Specialists Division. This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced, specialized team, offering a unique independent medical evaluation (IME) service line. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, scheduling, healthcare coordination, and/or administrative management and the ability to perform a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams via telephone and email.
Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system; take and relay accurate messages.
Assist with appointment confirmations, reminders, and basic scheduling updates.
Notify appropriate staff of cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows as directed.
Receive and log referrals from email, website, phone, and fax under supervision.
Enter and update data within internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
Assist in creating and maintaining claimant or case files.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Strong computer skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Experience in managing, prioritizing and coordinating high-volume referrals from multiple intake channels and scheduling workflows.
Advanced scheduling and logistics coordination skills, including confirmations, rescheduling, and attendance tracking.
Attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills.
Client service excellence.
Cross-functional support capabilities, including backup for data entry, transportation, and translation scheduling.
