Holly Thompson
President

 

Holly Thompson BSN, RN, COHN-S is the President of Everest Care Management. She joined Everest Care Management in 2005 after working 15 years in the Occupational Medicine and Worker’s Compensation industry.  Holly is responsible for the overall strategic and financial management of the company.  She is a Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN-S), experienced in OSHA compliance, work related exposures to chemicals, molds, dust etc.  Her past experience includes Safety Director for a hospital system and development of modified duty programs.  She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Quality Management Committee. Holly earned her Registered Nurse Degree from Shenandoah College in 1980 and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from University of Pittsburgh in 1995.  Holly is most proud of URAC accreditation and certification as a Woman-Owned Business.  Holly resides in Southwestern PA.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with family.

 

Michael Ness
VP of Business Development

 

Michael Ness M. Ed, CRC is the Vice President of Business Development. Mike has been in the sales and marketing field for worker’s compensation for more than 30 years.  Mike is responsible for new business development in addition to providing liaison services with existing customers.  He is responsible to identify and develop resources relevant to customer needs.  Mike has past experience in business operations, fiscal management and staff supervision.  Mike holds a BS in Rehabilitation Education from Penn State University in 1983 where he also obtained an M.Ed Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 1984.  Mike is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 1984.  Outside of work Mike enjoys playing pickle-ball, exercising, and is an avid reader.

 

Amanda McComsey
Director, Operations & Administrative Services

 

Amanda McComsey has been employed by Everest Care Management since 2007.  She is the Director of Operations and Administrative Services.  Amanda has a wide range of responsibilities including vendor accounts, contract negotiation and management, and day to day financial management.  Amanda oversees the operations of support staff, including compliance with customer billing and report submission.  She serves as the liaison to Information Management services and financial services.  Amanda is also responsible for scheduling corporate, executive activities. She resides in Lancaster.  In her spare time, Amanda enjoys going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.

 

Kimberly Balamuta
Regional Director

 

Kimberly Balamuta, BSN, RN, COHN-S is the Regional Director of the Western Division of Everest Care Management which also includes Maryland.  Kimberly has over 30 years of worker’s compensation experience.  In addition to Case Management, Kimberly was also the Director of an Occupational Medicine practice for more than 20 years.  In that role, Kimberly was also responsible for OSHA, Department of Health and Department of Transportation requirements.  Kimberly is board certified as a Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN-S).  She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Penn State University in 1977.  Kimberly is licensed in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland.  She is also a Catastrophic-trained Case Manager.  Kimberly resides in Southwestern PA and in her spare time, enjoys spending time with family and shopping.

 

Victoria Renda
Regional Director

 

Victoria Renda, BSN, RN, CCM, WCCM is the Regional Director for the Central Division of Everest Care Management.  Vicki has nearly 40 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and over 10 years of experience in the worker’s compensation industry.  Additionally, Vicki has extensive experience in the Neurological and Orthopedics areas and is also a Catastrophic-trained Case Manager.  Vicki earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences in 2016.  In addition to licensure in Pennsylvania, Vicki is licensed in Maryland and is certified as a CCM and WCCM.  Vicki resides near York and in her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

 

Bonnie Staller
Regional Director

 

Bonnie Staller, RN CCM is the Regional Director of the Eastern Division of Everest Care Management which also includes West Virginia and Virginia.  Bonnie has over 30 years of worker’s compensation experience.  She is also a Catastrophic- trained Case Manager and manages spinal cord and traumatic brain injury cases.   Bonnie is board certified as a Case Manager (CCM). Prior to joining Everest Care Management in 2010, Bonnie was an Independent Medical Evaluation Coordinator for 20 years.  Bonnie resides in the Philadelphia area and outside of work, she enjoys biking, walking and spending time with her family.

 

Stephanie Townsend
Quality Auditor

 

Stephanie Townsend, RN joined Everest Care Management in 2017 and serves as the Quality Auditor.  Stephanie is responsible to review all reports to ensure customer documentation compliance, billing guidelines and timeliness of report submission.  Stephanie’s background includes Risk Management, Staff Development, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement processes as a former Director of Nursing for Long Term Care facilities.  Stephanie is a member of the Quality Management Committee and has overall reasonability for quality indicator compliance. Prior to Quality Auditor, Stephanie was a Field Case Manager.  Stephanie resides near Philadelphia and outside of work enjoys walking, being outdoors and spending time with family.

 

Patrick Roy
Human Resource Generalist

 

Patrick Roy, BA, PHR® joined Everest Care Management in 2019 and is responsible for staff recruitment and Human Resource activities including policy review/revision, staff training, leave of absences, and employee benefits.  He is the Company Corporate Compliance Officer and ensures compliance with URAC and state and federal regulations.  Annually, he negotiates healthcare and disability benefits and compiles ACA and OSHA documents.  Patrick received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH in 2012. He has been certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2018.
